Orlando, Florida - Realizing the potential use of mobile gadget among youngsters, BlackBerry today Wednesday, May 15, 2013 officially launched a new product: Q5. "This series is dedicated to the growing market," said Thornsten Heins, CEO of BlackBerry in BlackBerry Live event in Orlando, Florida, Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
There has been no official explanation of what the differences Q5 technical specifications. To be sure, as exhibited in his presentation Heins, BlackBerry Q5 is deliberately made in the style of a young child. The colors are quite varied choice example, a typical young man, with striking colors such as bright red, yellow, black, and white.
Another striking difference compared to his brother, Z10, is the re-emergence of a physical keypad. Heins despite promises return to physical keypad models, however, many new features were added for ease of writing.
"We redesign the keyboard in Q5 that has the ability to type quickly. Instant Action also no technological shortcuts that make typing a lot easier," said the new BlackBerry boss for the top job this past January 2012. Like its predecessor series 7, Q5 also features 3.1-inch wide touch screen.
Q5 new series will be available in the market Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America later in July. BlackBerry parties have not decided how much the cheap version of this gadget will be released.
